As with traditional Indian markets Mapusa is loosely divided into sections selling everything from stainless steel kitchenware, sold by weight, to spices and cloth.
The morning starts with a pick up from your accommodation at 9.30am in our luxury air-conditioned vehicle. We will arrive at the market at about 10am. We only accept booking for a maximum of six people for this trip. Your guide will show you around the market and will help you complete your shopping list. You will have to do your own haggling!!
We will finish at noon with a puri bhaji lunch (pure veg). You will be back at your accommodation by 1pm thus escaping the afternoon heat..
This trip is also available on Tuesday morning. Tuesday is much quieter and therefore a better time for serious shopping.
